| The 25th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival |

The oldest continuous film festival in Los Angeles, Outfest 2007 features 235 films and videos from 26 countries in 9 different venues over 12 days.

- The festival boasts 116 separate public programs – 6 galas, 70 features, 12 short film programs, 14 panels and special events, 12 Platinum Section programs and a 2 day music festival.
- On Thursday, July 12th Outfest honors Bill Condon with the 11th Annual Outfest Achievment Award preceding the Opening Night Gala film SAVE ME.
- On Monday July 16th Outfest presents the restoration world premiere screening of PARTING GLANCES, the first film to be fully restored as part of the Outfest Legacy Project for LGBT Film Preservation.
- Outfest offers outdoor screenings, family programs, dozens of great parties, provocative panels, documentaries, live performances, music, experimental works, celebrities and more.
- Outfest 2007 also includes over 20 parties and receptions most of which are open to the general public or to festival badge and ticket holders.

- Documentary Centerpiece, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO
Filmmaker Daniel Karslake explores the way religious conservatives have systematically misled the public into believing that the Bible forbids homosexuality and how this campaign of misinterpretation continues to stigmatize the gay community and threatens America's rapidly diminishing separation of church and state.
