Cruise Terms and Conditions 2001
Cunard Line Limited shall provide a category S2 stateroom for two
aboard a seven-day Caribbean cruise on Seabourn Goddess I or II.
The total value of the cruise is approximately $7,998 and is subject
to the following provisions:
A. Award
is for cruise only fare. All expenses related to air, hotel, transfers
shipboard charges, government fees and taxes and travel and accident
insurance shall be the responsibility of the passenger. Booking
is subject to space available on any particular departure.
B. Award is for the number of cruise days on board ship in the accommodation
category on the type of cruise listed above. It does not represent
a credit in dollars. The listed approximate value os for comparison
only.
C. Cruise accommodations provided under this agreement may not be
exchanged and may not be sold for cash, products or services under
any circumstances. Any violations shall render passenger reservations
and documents invalid.
D. Charity must inform Cunard Line Limited of the winning bidder.
E. The cruise award must be booked and redeemed within 12 months
(one year) of the event date. There will be no exceptions and no
extensions.
F. We strongly suggest that the winner purchase a policy of travel
insurance to protect their investment in case of the need to cancel
or interrupt their vacation within penalty dates as stated in our
terms and conditions. WE will not waive penalties in they are in
effect.
G. This agreement shall be binding upon the heirs, successors, personal
representatives and assigns of the parties hereto. Included in the
definition of "successors" shall be any person, firm,
corporation or entity to whom a party hereto transfers all or a
substantial portion of its assets or the business owned and operated
by such a party as herein enumerated.
H. Neither party hereto may, without the prior written consent of
the other, assignes, transfer or otherwise dispose of its rights
hereunder and any such attempt, assignment or delegation without
the prior written consent of the party shall be voided.
I. Some departures of the cruise type donated may not be available
for booking. Early booking is suggested for the best chance of finding
space available and successfully redeeming the award within the
one-year term.
J. It is the responsibility of Charity to inform all bidders of
the rules as noted in this document.
